In June, 2 of us will take a trip to eastern France heading over the border to Germany and the northern part of the Black Forest riding the famous B500 only then to cross back into France. Below are the routes and also the hotels if there is interest

Day 1 - Rotterdam to Vienne le Chateau. 400km. Hotel Le Tulipier. Hotel has a nice indoor pool which is great after a long days riding.

Day 2 - Vienne le Chateau to Niederschaeffolsheim. 290km. Hotel Au Boeuf Rouge

Day 3 3- Niedersschaeffolsheim to La Baroche. 316km. Hotel La Rochette.

This year I intend to do a longer trip around south eastern part of France.

All hotels are the higher ´´Table Distiguee´´ category simply because we do enjoy high end cuisine whilst travelling in France.

Day 1. Rotterdam to Les Trois Domaines - 450km. Hotel is Le Relais d la Voie Sacree

A 4 day trip starting close to Calais for those coming across on the ferry or Tunnel. Now confirmed for July this year!

Day 1 Starting at the Chateau des Tourelles just south of Calais;

then day 1 from Le Wast to just south of Honfleur close to Le Havre. Overnight stop at the Hotel le Bellevue

Day 2 from Honfleur to south of Paris at the village of Ferrieres. Overnight stop at the Hotel de lÁbbaye.

Day 3 from Ferrirers day takes us into the Champagne region and the quietly secluded hotel at Hotel la Source Bleue

Finally day 4 heading back close to Calais at a favourite of mine le Cour de Remi
